Can white (1) link with black 2?

Ive been trying to link my white (1) with my friends black 2 through entralink to expand my white forest and his black city... is it even possible to link them?

Answer 1

No. The newer Gen V games, Black 2 and White 2, cannot use Entralink features like White Forest / Black City due to Black 2 and White 2 not having that kind of place anymore. There is no grass in White Forest, nor are there trainers outside to battle.
