Strange name in join avenue?

i traded some trainers in GTS and a trainer with the name of ???(glitch sign)???
appeard in my avenue is that a glitch or bug?

It's nothing.

The person's Trainer Name is "???", so that is what it will show up as in your Avenue. This has happened to me before. I met a guy called "!!!" on GTS and he came to my Avenue. Nothing to worry about.
