If your opponent is low on HP and you have high health..

My Venusaur in LeafGreen knocked out my rival's Charizard in my Venusaur only run of the Elite Four, and Venuaaur survived.

Scenario seems likely enough. I doubt Struggle would have enough power to knock out a poke though right?

Struggle does have a critical hit chance, so it can do substantial damage.
