Can you get shiny Pokemon cards?

I have a sentret that isn't brown it`s orange. does that mean you can get shiny cards

Yes,you can get shiny Pokemon cards.However,I don't know how you got a shiny sentret because according to this:
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shining_Pokémon_(TCG) these are the only shiny Pokemon cards released:
Gyarados
Magikarp
Celebi
Charizard
Mew
Kabutops
Mewtwo
Noctowl
Raichu
Stelix and
Tyranitar

So I think your sentret could be fake

I've got a shiny Deoxys promo card.  My friend's brother got it in a booster pack or something a while back. Is that one fake too?
