Can Slowking learn both Slack Off and Nasty Plot?

Question

Slowpoke learns Slack Off at level 36 while still being a Slowpoke. Slowking also learns Nasty Plot at level 36 as a Slowking.

My question is: Can you trade a level 36 Slowpoke who knows Slack Off, have it evolve to Slowking during trade, and then have it learn Nasty Plot once it evolves so it'll learn both moves?

Would that work?

Yes. As long as you don't have him level upon evolving, he can pick up both. You could also use the move Reminder to pick up the extra move if you run into trouble.
