We have had no confirmation yet of an event for the Hoopa movie, however, since Diancie was released as an event during the Diancie movie, (Or close to the time) it is most probable that, considering they have said that Hoopa exists, they will probably release it as an event.
After-all, it would be pretty stupid to say "Heres a a whole movie that everyones been hyped about, its about a Pokemon called Hoopa! Oh, you want it? Too bad, you're NEVER getting it!"
