Can catch the same Island Scan Pokemon twice?

Say, for instance, that I today (Tuesday) I use Island Scan on Akala to catch a Spheal. If I use Island on Akala again next Tuesday, will there be another Spheal?

Yes, it is possible to, in this case, catch another Spheal from Island Scan on Tuesday. There is no limit to how many of each Island Scan Pokemon you may capture. It would simply be idiotic on GameFreak's case to implement a limit on how many we can catch. I mean, I've already caught 4 Axews from Island Scan every Saturday.
