Does switching out reset toxic damage?

Question

so lets say I have a toxic Pokemon out for 5 turns, and the toxic damage builds.
then I switch him out to a slowking. (random)
the slowking is OHKOed.
I bring out the toxic poisoned Pokemon
At the end of the turn, does toxic restart and only do 6% of my health as damage?
