Why is the maximum amount of Pokedollars one can acquire $9,999,999?

Just wondering why you cannot exceed 10million Pokédollars.

Well, 10 million Pokedollars has an extra digit (8 digits), whereas 9,999,999 pokedollars has only 7 digits. It's not that they don't want to go over, they probably just wont be able to fit it - and the number in the game will look improper.
