I am currently using 9 Pokémon in rotation to play through sword, but it feels like I need a fairy type. I looked at all of the options and narrowed it down to Clefable and Sylveon. But which should I use? My team is:

Cinderace
Pyro Ball
Zen Headbutt
Iron Head
Acrobatics

Drednaw
Waterfall
Rock Slide
Jaw Lock
High Horsepower

Tsareena
Trop Kick
Acrobatics
High Jump Kick
Zen Headbutt

Sirfetch’d
Brick Break
Leaf Blade
Throat Chop
Brave Bird

Heliolisk
Thunderbolt
Dark Pulse
Surf
Focus Blast

Polteageist
Shadow Ball
Giga Drain
Psychic
Reflect

Frosmoth
Ice Beam
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Dazzling Gleam

Duraludon
Dragon Pulse
Flash Cannon
Thunderbolt
Dark Pulse

Malamar
Psycho Cut
Night Slash
Liquidation
Superpower

Which of Sylveon and Clefable should I use? Please provide a reason and preferably a moveset. Also, tips and changes to the rest of the team are appreciated. ;)

Clefable has a better movepool
Clefable can be very useful but imo use Sylveon with hyper voice if u get a pixilate. In-game normally doesn't matter that much.

Clefable has the slight edge.

I recommend Clefable as it has a better movepool. Sylveon is mainly used for competitive use due to its Hyper Voice and Pixilate Combo that can deal great damage. Though Clefable is in the OU tier, it can still be used for in-game playthroughs.

About the sets, for Clefable I would use this:

Clefable
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature : you choose
IVs: You choose
- Flamethrower
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind/Ice Beam.

Competitive use:

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Knock Off
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock

Hope I helped!
