hello, I have a question regarding my heartgold game. Normally when your shiny hunting in the game especially for the starters you would soft reset but the problem with my game is that it wont soft reset for some reason. Does turning off your DS and back on still work but its a slower way of doing it?
You can soft reset fast by pressing L + R + start and select. However, powering on and off can also work just fine; it's just a bit slower.
