And is the currency different in certain games(I mean the currency that you buy stuff with at the pokemart)?
No the main Currency is the same in each game, the Pokedollar, there are also Game coins(for the game corner), Pokethalon points(For the Pokedome), and Battle points(BP)(for the battle factory/Subway).
