Infinite Z-A Royale
Once you beat the game and have access to the Infinite Z-A Royale, you'll get a random reward for each promotion match that you win. Here are the Apricorn Ball rewards:
- 2.76% - 1 Fast Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Level Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Lure Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Heavy Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Love Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Friend Ball
- 2.76% - 1 Moon Ball
Total: 19.32% chance of getting an Apricorn Ball of any type.
Also, there is a 1.38% chance for 1 Master Ball.

Ranked Battles
Apricorn Balls can be obtained as rewards for performing well in online ranked battles. The rewards received depend on your placement:
1st Place
- 7% - 1 Fast Ball
- 7% - 1 Level Ball
- 7% - 1 Lure Ball
- 7% - 1 Heavy Ball
- 7% - 1 Love Ball
- 7% - 1 Friend Ball
- 7% - 1 Moon Ball
Total: 49% chance of getting an Apricorn Ball of any type.
2nd Place
- 3% - 1 Fast Ball
- 3% - 1 Level Ball
- 3% - 1 Lure Ball
- 3% - 1 Heavy Ball
- 3% - 1 Love Ball
- 3% - 1 Friend Ball
- 3% - 1 Moon Ball
Total: 21% chance of getting an Apricorn Ball of any type.
Placing 3rd or 4th does not reward any Apricorn Balls.

End of Season Rewards
Although they are not Apricorn Balls, it's worth noting that other special Poke Balls might be obtainable when a Ranked Battle season ends. Players will receive rewards based on the ranking they achieved. This is time-sensitive and based on real life dates, so the rewards that are available to you will depend on when you are reading this. I can't predict whether future seasons will include Apricorn Balls, but it could be worth checking.
At the time of writing, the Season 2 rewards include the only known way of obtaining Dream Balls:
- Rank A - 3 Dream Balls
- Rank B–E - 2 Dream Balls
The Season 1 payout was similar, but with Sport Balls, and is no longer available, so you'll need to trade with a player who obtained this reward if you want a Sport Ball.
