I’d like a comprehensive list of what is used for what. Like, I want to know if I need mossy soil or red rock or yellow rock for anything, yknow. So I’d like a list of block type = what it’s used for. Thank you

Iron Ingot:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by melting Iron ore in the smelting furnace
  • Usage:
  • Rebuilding the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center requires 25 iron ingots among other materials. Making iron ingots can take a bit of time, so be sure to take on other activities while you smelt them.
  • Iron ingots can be used to craft several different pieces of furniture. These items are great for decorating homes, raising Comfort Level, and creating new habitats!

Gold Ingot:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by melting Gold Ore in the smelting furnace
  • Usage:
  • You'll need Gold Ingots to complete specific Pokemon or Main Story requests, including Do the... Team Initiation Challenge? where you must submit 20 gold ingots.
  • Gold ingots are also necessary for the construction of the Pokemon Center in the Sparkling Skyland. The building will require 25 gold ingots, so farm more ores and smelt them.

Pokemetal:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by melting Pokemetal Fragment(s) in the smelting furnace
  • Usage:
  • Some furniture or item recipes will require Pokemetal as one of the materials needed to craft them.
  • Pokemetal is used to craft the washing machine, refrigerator, and Game Boy system that are required for Do the... Team Initiation Challenge. Crafting each item will require one Pokemetal.
  • Pokemetals are also necessary for the construction of the Pokemon Center in the Sparkling Skylands. The building will require 25 Pokemetal, so farm more fragments and smelt them.
  • Pokemetal can also be utilized to 3D print an item. To 3D print an item, you will need to provide 2 Pokemetal, with larger items requiring more.

Rare Pokemetal:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by melting Rare Pokemetal fragment in the smelting furnace
      Glass
    • Melt volcanic ash, sand, or sandstone in a smelting furnace with Pokemon with the Burn specialty
    • Can also be obtained by breaking broken windows
  • Usage:
  • Rare Pokemetal can be used to 3D print Fossils and large decoration items. To 3D print an item, you must provide two Rare Pokemetal, with larger items requiring more!
    Currently, this is the only known use for Rare Pokemetal. We will update this section when other uses for Rare Pokemetal are found!

Glass:

  • How to get:
    • Melt volcanic ash, sand, or sandstone in a smelting furnace with Pokemon with the Burn specialty
    • Can also be obtained by breaking broken windows
  • Usage:
  • Glass is mainly used to craft items like mirror and other similar items, some of these items are required to create habitats for other Pokemon.
  • Glass are also necessary for the construction of the Pokemon Center in the Sparkling Skyland. The building will require 25 glass, so farm more sand and smelt them.

Concrete:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by processing Limestone, found on Rocky Ridges, in a Concrete Mixer, which is unlocked in Sparkling Skylands
  • Usage:
  • Concrete may be obtained by processing Limestone in Concrete Mixer with the help of a Pokemon with the Crush Specialty. It takes some time to process, so try to stock up and keep your Pokemon friends busy!
    The recipe for Concrete Mixer can be obtained by speaking with Conkeldurr during the Sparkling Sklylands main story.
  • How to get Limestone:
    • The cave with a hot spring in Rocky Ridges contains a large amount of limestone. There are also some in Sparkling Skylands, around where you meet Tinkmaster just beneath the tower.

Paper:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by giving Wastepaper to Pokemon with the Recycle specialty
  • Usage:
  • Paper is mainly used to craft items like bookcases and other similar items, some of these items are required to create habitats for other Pokemon.
  • Certain Requests, either from other Pokemon or the Main Story require you to give or use Paper in oreder to progress them.

Tinkagear:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by giving Iron Ingots to Tinkaton for processing
  • Usage:
  • Tinkagears is used to craft items like Lift platform and other similar items, some of these items are required to create habitats for other Pokemon.
  • You'll need Tinkagears to complete specific Pokemon or Main Story requests, including Do the... Team Initiation Challenge? where you must submit 5 tinkagears.

Strange Strings:

  • How to get:
    • Has a low chance of dropping from glowing blocks
  • Usage:
  • Currently, Strange Strings can only be used to make two items in the game: Cool electric guitar and Cool bass guitar. Both are required when creating the Amped rock stage and Low-key rock stage habitats.
    When you get your first Strange Strings, you will immediately receive the recipe for both guitars!

Armor Fragment:

  • How to get:
    • Has a low chance of dropping from glowing blocks
  • Usage:
  • Currently, Armor Fragments can only be used to make two items in the game: Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor. Both are required when creating the Auspicious knight's shrine and Malicious knight's shrine habitats.
    When you get your first Armor Fragment, you will immediately receive the recipe for two armors!

Stardust:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring Dream Islands
  • Usage:
  • Stardust is used as a crafting material in Star Piece. You will need 99 Stardust to make one Star Piece, which can be found in the Other tab on your workbench.
    When you collect your first Stardust, you will immediately unlock the recipe for Star Piece!
  • If you give a Star Piece to another player's Pokemon that came in your city via Link Play, you may trade it for a Souvenir.

All the Paint items:

  • How to get:
    • All the Paint items are obtained by giving certain berries to a Pokemon with the Crush Specialty. Here are all the different berries required for the different colors of Paint:

Red: Leppa Berry
Blue: Chesto Berry
Green: Lum Berry
Yellow: Aspear Berry
Pink: Pecha Berry
Cyan: Rawst Berry
White: low Chance with a Leppa Berry, Chesto Berry, or Rawst Berry
Black: low Chance with an Aspear Berry, Pecha Berry, or Lum Berry

  • Usage:
  • You can customize certain items and homes with different colors using paint. Two different paints can be used together to create more colors!
    To have an item painted, bring it to Smearguru in Bleak Beach. If you want a home painted, you will need to ask Smearguru to follow you and take them to the house you want customized.
  • Paint can also be used to craft paint balloons at a workbench. With paint balloons, you can change an item's color without Smearguru's help!

There are currently 44 known items in Pokopia:[S1]

Tip: many items can be farmed my going to a Dream Island and giving a Driftloon a certain type of doll.

Honey:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by inspecting sparkling flower beds
    • Dropped by Combee in its habitat
  • Usage:
  • You can trade 3 Honey to Vespiquen once every day for furniture. Simply speak with Vespiquen and select the I brought some honey option. Vespiquen will then show you a selection of furniture from which to chose. You can only pick one, so choose wisely!
    • Note that you may only do this once every day, so don't forget to trade for some cool furniture!
  • Honey can also help you find any missing Pokemon. Simply use the honey within the missing Pokemon habitat, and the Pokemon should appear shortly after.

Sturdy Stick:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring
    • Can also be obtained by using Cut on wooden objects
    • Dropped by Cacturne in its habitat
  • Usage:
  • Many different crafting recipes use sturdy sticks. This includes the Ditto flag, an item used to mark your home in an area.
  • Sturdy sticks can also be placed inside a furnace to power it up. Furnaces serve as generators that provide power to other structures such as streetlights and vending machines.
    • This is especially useful for the Brighten Things Up request in Bleak Beach.

Stone:

  • How to get:

    • Can be picked up while exploring
    • Has a chance to drop when destroying natural blocks with Rock Smash
    • Dropped by Rock-type with Litter specialty in their habitat
  • Usage:

  • Stone is a common material used for crafting different kinds of items in the games, particularly in the early game.
  • Stone is also needed to rebuild the Pokemon Center in the Withered Wasteland, as well as other building kits such as dens.

Leaf:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring
    • Can also be obtained by using Cut on tall grass and vines
    • Dropped by Venusaur in its habitat
  • Usage:
  • Several crafting recipes use leaf as one of their required materials. This includes straw furniture, making them a great option for decorating homes early on in the game.
  • Leaf is one of the require materials to rebuild the Withered Wasteland Pokemon Center. You will need 20 leaves to restore the building.

Small Log:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by cutting down worn lumber or trees
    • Dropped by Haxorus in its habitat
  • Usage:
  • After befriending a Chop specialty Pokemon, you can give them small logs to turn into lumber. You will receive 5 lumber for every small log given for processing.
  • Some crafting recipes include small logs in their list of materials. You can make furniture like log chairs and log tables with small logs.
  • Small logs can be given to [certain] Pokemon as gifts for raising their Comfort Level. Some may even ask for small logs through Requests.

Vine Rope:

  • How to get:
    • Mainly obtained by using Cut on vines
    • Dropped by Bellsprout and Weepinbell in their habitat
  • Usage:
  • Vine ropes are included in several crafting recipes including things like picnic baskets and water basins.
  • You can also give vine ropes to other Pokemon to try and raise their Comfort Level. Some Pokemon may even ask for tomatoes through Requests.

Glowing Mushrooms:

  • How to get:
    • Can be found inside caves
  • Usage:
  • Glowing mushrooms can be used to craft mushroom lamps. These lamps are used to illuminate rooms and fulfill some requests.

Twine:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by breaking down textile garbage
    • Dropped by Bug-type with Litter specialty in their habitats
    • Also obtained by cutting cobwebs
  • Usage:
  • Twine is used in several crafting recipes including beds, chairs, and most notably, the Ditto flag. The Ditto flag is used to mark your home in an area.
  • Collecting twine will count towards the Gather twine! challenge. Completing this challenge will reward you with 200 Life Coins.

Sea Glass Fragments:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring Bleak Beach, usually found on muk-covered tiles
  • Usage:
  • Sea glass fragments can be used in several crafting recipes. This includes the recipes for shell lamps, resort lights, and spotlights.

Seashell:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring the shoreline of Bleak Beach
  • Usage:
  • Seashell is one of the materials needed to craft Shell Lamps. You can use Shell Lamps to light up the homes you build.

Nonburnable Garbage:

  • How to get:
    • Can be picked up while exploring the Bleak Beach
  • Usage:
  • Pokemon with the Recycle specialty can make iron ore out of nonburnable garbage. Approach the Pokemon and present them with some garbage to make the request.
  • Unburnable garbage can be used to craft garbage bags. This outdoor furnishing is used to create certain habitats.
  • Collecting this item is needed to complete the Gather nonburnable garbage! challenge. You can keep track of your current challenges through a PC outside of a Pokemon Center.

Squishy Clay:

  • How to get:
    • Can be obtained by breaking down clay blocks, which can easily be found inside Onix's cavern and on Bleak Beach
    • Dropped by Ground-type with Litter specialty in their habitats

    • Dropped by Mareep and Flaffy in their habitat
  • Usage:

This doesn’t answer what I was looking for. I was hoping it would be item = use, but the information given is mostly filler, for example, iron ore says it’s used in multiple recipes, but doesn’t list them. I want to know exactly, for each item in the game. This list doesn’t even have the items I was curious about
