the only one I can think of would be to absorb a thunder wave while switching in but thats not very useful...

Normally there isn’t due to most dittos way to transform right away but I can see it working if you can predict what pokemon they switch into
I think if there ever is some hyper niche scenario where you can switch in, predicting the paralysis, using Limber still isn't worth it, because you have to waste a turn clicking transform where you could be KOed. And even then, does the one specific exception where it works really justify using the inferior ability and handicapping yourself for 99.9% of your other games?
I may be total wrong about this but I feel like I remember there being some people who used limber ditto back in the sword shield VGC era because you can then chose which foe you turn into rather than being forced to turn into the opponent across the field from you. You could also then avoid things like Astral barrage on the switch in which is a nice bonus as well. Even in that case though imposter is still probably better almost all of the time.
I figured if Limber had any use over Imposter, it would probably be in VGC.
