Can a pokemon hold any invented item in the Pokemon Series.

No, Pokemon cannot hold Key Items.

Yes, except the Key items inside your bag. Other than that,
any Pokemon can hold any item.

You can carry any item except key items tms and but of the Pokemon has the ability it's item will not work
