Are Pokemon allowed to hold the same items in Wi-Fi battling??

I'm not a avid Wi-Fi battler, so i would not know. I'm asking for the the tournament.

Yes, you can imagine that Wi-Fi will be the same as PO / Showdown.
The rule that you are talking about is more strictly pertaining to VGC Rules.
