Pokémon Rate My Team

I'm almost finished my first OU team (made possible in part by various people from Pokebase; sorry I forgot their usernames)! I need others to rate this so I can know if I'm ready for Battle Spot and/or tournaments once it's done. I'll also take suggestions as for how to improve the team further. Here's the team:

Bulky Lead

Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Aerial Ace
- Stealth Rock

Speedy-ish Wall

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Toxic
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Protect

Physical Sweeper

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Thief
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace
- Bullet Punch

Many people choose Night Slash over Thief, but Theif activates Technician; I'd prefer power over upped chance to crit. Brick Break makes up for lack of normal type coverage in the team. Aerial Ace never misses + technician boost. Bullet Punch has STAB + technician + priority

Special Sweeper

Alakazam @ Life Orb
Ablity: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball

Special Tank

Empoleon @ Leftovers?
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 SAtk / 96 Def / 162 SDef
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Flash Cannon
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Physical Tank

Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Sandstorm
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

In my opinion, I think your team looks awesome. I wouldn't make that many changes, really. If you're still confused about whether or not you should give Empoleon Leftovers, you could try to give it the mystic water to increase scald, choice specs (do the same as choice band, just with sp. attack instead), or maybe the wise glasses (they increase special moves by 10%). Other than that, I think your team would be outstanding.
Get rid of roost on Gliscor and put in substitute. With that set I fainted Mega Gyarados from full HP with Toxic, Then SubTect all the way through. I was already behind a sub and Toxiced it when it Dragon Danced.
Interesting...
