Tyrant (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 76 Atk / 180 SpD
Sassy Nature (+SpD, -Spe)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Low Kick
- Stealth Rock
The Sand Streamer Tyranitar is back for more in the Uber tier.
SpD is ridiculously high in the Sand Storm, and Tyranitar can usually get up the weather first unless some shenanigans is taking place like Iron Ball Kyogre.
Crunch is good STAB with a nice secondary effect, though low chance.
Pursuit punishes fleeing Pokemon like Kyogre locked into let's say Ice Beam.
Low Kick takes care of Dialga and gets very good coverage along with Crunch and Pursuit.
You know the deal with Stealth Rock, it helps land KOs and may make the opponent think twice about switching.
Fossil (Arceus-Rock) @ Stone Plate
Trait: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Recover
Swords Dance boosts Attack to very nice levels, the Sandstorm also help in setting up.
Stone Edge is STAB and very pwr ful.
Also, something not everyone thinks about is that the Place Arceus holds does give the STAB move an extra boost, in this case Stone Edge.
Earthquake formes the very good EdgeQuake combo, giving good coverage and it takes care of Steel types resisting Stone Edge, like Dialga and Arceus Steel among others.
Recover can stall out somethings and gives Arceus more time to sweep.
Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
Jolly Scarf outspeeds most of the Uber tier, Hasty Scarf Palkia and Hasty Scarf Reshiram for example. This makes for a solid revenger.
Close Combat is pwr ful STAB and punishes Pokemon like Darkrai. Speaking of Darkrai it might give Terrakion an attack boost thanks to Justified.
Stone Edge takes care of Pokemon like Reshiram and is STAB.
X-Scissor hits Psychic types hard and reliably.
Earthquake takes care of the Jirachi and the likes.
Terrakion also abuses the sand like cocaine which is nice. ( Speaking from personal experience, this thing hurts bad! -J98 )
Distortion (Giratina) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Dragon Tail
Awesome wall!
RestTalk is for healing and doing something while healed.
It also makes Giratina able to absorb status barring a lucky freeze.
Will-O-Wisp cripples physical attackers and gives the opponent residual damage making Giratina an even better wall, dang Giratina is so bulky!!
Dragon Tail is for Phazing and does damage in the process.
Giratina is also the Spinblocker in the team.
Mad Spin! (Forretress) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
Toxic Spikes gives more residual on the opponents side.
Spikes makes the opponent think twice about switching.
The hazards also helps Giratina rack up damage on the opponents side with Dragon Tail.
Rapid Spin clears away pesky hazards.
Volt Switch can give something a free switch, scout and avoid random shenanigans like Mean Look and does some damage on top of that.
A specially defensive spread is used to take hits from the likes of Palkia better.
Mewtwo @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Psystrike
- Aura Sphere
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
Psystrike is a very good STAB move, hitting 150 Base Power with STAB and hits trough Calm Minders as well.
Aura Sphere compliments Psystrike nicely and takes out Darkrai and Dialga among others.
Ice Beam takes care of Dragons and punishes Skymin.
Calm Mind is here to boost the special bulk a bit as well as SpA but it hasn't come into much use so far.
