DEOXYS-SPEED - In AG, when pokemon like Mega Rayquaza are on the loose, 90/90/90 defenses are much too frail to run Rocky Helmet. If you want a hazard setting Deoxys, here’s what to use:
Deoxys-S @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 Spe/252 HP/4 Def
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Spikes
- Reflect/Light Screen
Dual screens on Deoxys-s might work in a lower format, but in AG! Deoxys is too frail to run Light Clay so it might be a better idea to just run one.
RAYQUAZA-MEGA - Your Rayquaza has Outrage, which can easily be shut down if your opponent has a fairy type switch-in. Instead, I would teach it Dragon Claw for much less BP, but no backfiring aftereffect. Another option would be to run Outrage and give Mega Rayquaza the Dragonium Z. I feel like Mega Rayquaza’s Speed is overrated. It only has 115, which is pretty mediocre, even for legendaries, which generally don’t have great speed to begin with. As such, I would give it a Jolly Nature instead of Adamant. Also, V-Create doesn’t offer much coverage, and it lowers your Special Defense, Defense, and Speed. Yes, I know it has 180 BP, but a super effective Earthquake would deal 200 base damage with no repercussions. Because of this, I would reccomend replacing V-Create with Earthquake for coverage.
LUNALA-DAWN WINGS - Your DW Lunala is mostly fine, my only improvement I can suggest is to replace Power Gem with Heat Wave because Heat Wave hits a lot of steel types, which normally wall Lunala DW pretty well.
SHAYMIN-SKY - Shaymin-Sky is pretty fast, even for ubers standards. Because of this, you don’t really need a Focus Sash as much as a Life Orb. The reason for this is that Sashes are generally so that the holder can set up or a kind of slow sweeper. While Focus Sash isn’t a bad item for Shaymin-Sky at all, and is probably better than the Life Orb in SOME scenarios, I think the Life Orb would be better. Psychic doesn’t offer much coverage, replace it with Earth Power. Also, without the Focus Sash you’re probably not going to be using Healing Wish as much, so replace Healing Wish with Hidden Power Fire, or Hidden Power Ice. I’d say HP Ice because it stops Shaymin-Sky from getting walled by other Shaymin-Sky.
ZYGARDE-C - Glare doesn’t help much, replace it with Toxic for residual damage, as you didn’t invest any EVs in attack in him, so Thousand Arrows won’t do too much. Replace Sleep Talk with Dragon Tail, for STAB and to phaze out pokemon that currently have stat boosts, or are setting up.
LUGIA - I know you’re going to be tricking the Choice Scarf away anyways, but there are some scenarios where you wouldn’t want to trick it. (Ex. When your opponent is at x4 in attack) and it’s pretty gimmicky. Replace it with:
Lugia @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recover
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
