Alright, so I decided to get all the gold symbols at battle frontier, my team consisted of:
Gardevoir
Nature: Modest
Ability: Trace
EVs: 255 spd, 255 sp. atk
Item: Twisted Spoon
Move Set:
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind
I figure I should use a twisted spoon to get more stab damage, is there a better item that I can give her?
Regice
Nature: Modest
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 hp, 200 def, 58 sp. atk
Item: Leftovers
Thunderbolt
Ice beam
Toxic
Explosion
A tank Regice that can use explosion when it's at low hp.
Salamence
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 62 sp. atk, 193 atk, 255 spd
Move Set:
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Brick Break
Dragon Dance
I decided to get some spc atk evs because dragon claw is spc. damage in this generation. Should I get CB for his item or Dragon Fang?
I'm also tempted to hatch another Bagon with Dragon Dance and Outrage instead of dragon claw because it's special, is that worth it?

I start of with Gardevoir, then switch when I'm at a type disadvantage, but I usually get wiped with this strategy. I tried starting with Slamence, this time I get more success with this strategy but it doesn't really take me that farther, just a little bit.
I think I need to change my move set for the three of them, what should I replace? And I've heard that the battle frontier trainers have max ivs should I breed until I get max iv mons? Or just max ivs for the specific evs that I'm gonna train?

If the team that I have above isn't enough to get me gold symbols I am willing to go and get a good nature Latios, replace Gardevoir for a Metagross, and replace Regice for a Blissey.

Icebeam / Flamethrower
A bit hesitant on Icebeam or Flamethrower, Flamethrower can destroy pesky steel types but Icebeam is also a good move, what should I use?

That's about it. In general I'm worried about double team, and if I should have max ivs for my mons?
