Yeah that's true, I use the focus sash set because my team isn't gen 8 so heavy duty boots doesn't exist, but I have two hazard clearers on my team which helps a lot.

You could use one of these 2 sets:
Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shell Smash
- Rest
- Infestation
- Toxic
The idea is to set up a few shell smashes and then toxic/infestation them to death, rest if you need to heal.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Explosion
Can be used as a lead, gives your team a hazard setter.
