First turn, I look at the opponents. If there is any physical threat to Ninetales (equakers, rock sliders, etc.) then I burn it with Banette’s will-o-wisp. If there is anything that Banette could get a cheap OHKO on, I shadow claw or even shadow sneak it. While Banette does whatever it does, Ninetales uses nasty plot. The next turn, I use Will-O-Wisp on Ninetales to activate Flash Fire, and then I sweep with Heat Wave. If ninetales or Banette happen to faint, Greninja has a helpful move in Mat Block that allows Ninetales or Samurott to set up safely, or Banette to set a sub. Protean, great coverage with ice, dark, and water, and an expert belt makes greninja very strong. Samurott can set up Swords Dance and use STAB priority Aqua Jets, can cover grass with Megahorn, and cam just use powerful STAB aqua tails.

maybe gyarados in place of samurott for intimidate and higher attack?
Hmm, mabye that would be better
You know mat block only works on the first turn out right? And also, it has no priority, so you may want to be faster
greninja is SUPER fast, and mat block protects the teammate. I don’t think the battle tree AI EV trains their Pokémon well, and not much outspeeds Greninja in the first place. Of course I know it only works once, I’m not gonna post a rate my team for a team I haven’t used.
Well, sometimes some people don't, so I was just wondering
Honestly, the ai runs speed investment. In the early battles like maybe ten to twenty wins, they barely have any investment. But once you get higher, the ai would almost always have max speed investment in pokemon that appreciate those so you're better of running naïve or hasty just to be safe
