Smeargle @Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP, 6 Def, 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Spore

EVs and nature to maximize speed. It would outspeed and Spore, or live with Sash and do the same thing. Then set some Spikes, then Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock and faint.

Bewear @Assault Vest
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 252 Atk, 64 Def, 198 SpD
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
- Darkest Lariat
- Drain Punch
- Earthquake
- Double-Edge

This thing is so underrated. It's got the best 500 BST spread imo and is super useful.
Double-Edge is STAB, and Drain Punch is for healing and STAB. Earthquake and Darkest Lariat are coverage.

Porygon2 @Eviolite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 132 Def, 252 SpA, 128 SpD
Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
- Tri Attack
- Discharge
- Ice Beam
- Recover

My Bulky Special Attacker. Best with Eviolite.
Tri Attack is STAB with good secondary effects. Discharge and Ice Beam provide the BoltBeam combo and Recover is for healing.

Kangaskhan @Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy --> Parental Bond
EVs: 252 HP, 134 Atk, 128 Spe
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Punch

My Mega Pokemon. EVs are both for power and bulk. Fake Out is just awesome with this ability, priority, STAB and guaranteed flinch. Ice Punch and Fire Punch are coverage and Sucker Punch is for Ghost-Types.

Snorlax @Figy Berry
Ability: Glutonny
EVs: 128 HP, 134 Atk, 252 Def
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Thunder Punch
- Belly Drum

Belly Drum maximises Attack, while Figy Berry heals. The rest are self-explanatory.

Slaking @Assault Vest
Ability: Truant
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Def, 134 SpD
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
- Giga Impact
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Play Rough

Truant doesn't stop this guy from being OP.
Giga Impact is a staple on every Slaking.
Earthquake and Rock Slide provide the EdgeQuake combo. Play Rough is for annoying Dragon-Types.

I assume this is National Dex Monotype?

Mega Kangaskahn is banned. Slaking is terrible. Not sure about the bewear. Smeargle is pretty niche. Snorlax is unviable. Porygon2 doesn’t have adaptability, your EVs on it do not work and also aren’t very good.

You lack of some strong mons in the normal mono like
Heliolisk,Blissey,Diggersby, you can use both porygon 2 and z,ditto, obstagoon, indeedee.

-Smeargle isn't a good choice, this isn't national dex ag + you don't even have swebs; so just replace it with a better overall pivot like Blissey.

-Bewear is kinda good, but you don't need av on this beast,sd/bulk up + drain punch are strong enough, also sub can be an option.
Here are 2 sets i found in my teambuilder.

Bewear @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Fluffy
EVs: 76 Atk / 252 Def / 180 Spe
Impish Nature
- Bulk Up
- Darkest Lariat
- Drain Punch
- Substitute

OH RABBIA! (Bewear) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Fluffy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Darkest Lariat

-Porygon2 seems nice but you don't have a good spread and even the ability is wrong on this thing.
You also like to use teleport since it's a broken move this gen,and also recover is good move.
You never put evs in both defenses, like 252 spdef or 252 def cause that just doesn't make sense, so go for max spatk and hp investment
the option are then :
teleport + boltbeam + tri-attack
teleport + recover + boltbeam
teleport + recover + discharge-ice beam + tri-attack

this set should be fine cause can help u with some fighting-physical attackers

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recover
- Discharge
- Ice Beam
- Teleport

-Mega Kangha
Megas aren't available in gen 8

-Just use Diggersby instead, which is a really relevan presence in the normal mono.

-Snorlax
belly drum (??) snorlax with bd can be used with custap berry in 1v1 but then stop, you are way too slow.
I suggest u to use heliolisk due his high base speed + useful ability that can cover diggersby + you only have
porygon2 has a special ""attacker" and also indeedee saves u from urshifu-r and is a strong special attacker as well.

-Slaking
This thing also isn't that good and doesn't exist in gen 8, braviary is a better choice,
you can run braviary either as defogger or as scarf user.

I will late here 2 normal teams i've in my teambuilder

https://pokepast.es/1a4bb4616391295c basic team from decem
https://pokepast.es/38535ed10f54681f also another normal basic team

As u see,normal hasn't many option.
- Porygon2 and Blissey can be a good defensive core
- Indeedee is a good coverage for fighting, especially for urshifu-r in water teams, since fighting isn't that good
- Diggersby, Obstagoon and Bewear are strong mons overall
- Ditto can always be useful
- Braviary is the only viable defogger + deterrant

And those are 8 mons,so you can see that normal isn't as good as flying or steel in this metagame, you can basically do nothing to Steel or to Flying (which are the strongest and most used types atm)
Especially Flying has gzapdos which destroys u completely, Water has Urshifu-r, Dragon and Ghost have sub dd Dpult + dragon has Kommo-o
Dark has Zarude with close combat which also destroys Normal, Bug has Buzzwole + Volcarona once blissey is dead Ghost has Mimikyu with Drain Punch + Aegi with sd/wpolicy
Fairy has Bulu or even CM Fini beats u once blissey is dead

And those are just same basic examples and u have to keep attention to them.

Perhaps,i've a replay when i was against a normal team with steel :
