I mean, I’m not averse to you pointing out badly written posts. Just maybe not list every single inadequacy in their writing in meticulous detail. :P
I fixed the points guide, thanks for bringing it up.

Though I’m not about to go reaching into the depths of the admin for examples, I think we both would have a recollection of you telling people their posts are dumb, or making snarky comments like (paraphrase) ‘do you think the rules don’t apply to you’. And calling out people’s grammar sounds condescending.
Overall comments like these really grating and can be worded more kindly. It sounds like you’re having a go at people. There’s no problem telling people they’re breaking rules or that their ideas aren’t good — it’s just about doing it kindly and constructively.
In fairness to you, most instances of this would be from a while ago. I made a bigger point of respecting the wishes of other people; that’s honestly my main concern.

No, I wouldn't say that you were abusing your powers if you edited something offensive to say something nice. What's the problem with it? If it's offensive and isn't constructive criticism, (constructive criticism shouldn't be offensive, but some people decide to be offended by it anyway) it's not helping at all.
