I personally didn’t hunt for Type: Null in my copy of Ultra Sun, but I’ve seen others who have so yes, it is possible to get a shiny Type: Null. But gift Pokémon aren’t affected by the Shiny Charm in Gen 7, so it’s always a full odds hunt. Don’t let that dissuade you though, since full odds hunts have the best payoff, especially if you’re going for a favorite.
