Alright, I finished the Emerald Nuzlocke, so this will be my last Emerald Nuzlocke Update. After the Tate and Liza fiasco, I boxed Midnight, and brought out blubby. i fought the grunts in the space center, along with the double battle with Steven. I then went to the Name Rater, and changed Blubby's name to Mr. Big. I went to Sootopolis and Kyogre and Groudon were duking it out. I then trained, and trained, and trained, in the Sky Pillar. I went to the top and got rayquaza moving, and then trained there some more after it left, before going back to Sootopolis. Rayquaza broke up the fight and the Champion let two major criminal gang leaders just peacefully walk away. I fought Juan, using Celestial's Shock Wave, and Calotropis to deal with most of his team, bringing out Gerald to deal with Kingdra. Gerald was faster, and got out a dragonbreath on Kingdra. He got down to yellow and was paralyzed. It tried to do something, but couldn't move, and then I finished him off. After Juan I went to Victory Road, killing Wally's only hopes of success before training for hours, all that was left was Twilight, who I decided I would train at Meteor Falls, because I needed to get the Dragon Claw TM. He died, at level 55, while training. It was both terrifying and sad. I needed him to deal with Pheobe. But, I remembered that Gerald had known Crunch at one point, so I retaught it that using my only Heart Scale. Then, I entered The E4, with a real party of 5, with a non trained pokemon voodoo the claydol as a heal cushion, but he was never sacrificed so that's good. Sidney was a piece of cake with Rhino's Brick Break, and Celestial's Shock Wave, with a few scary points at Pheobe, because she used some potions to stall out the battle, and since Gerald wasn't resistant, I had to use a few Full restores. Glacia was easy, with one close call due to not switching out my pokemon to deal with one of her Galies, which was scary for a moment on Celestial, who had been taking care of her walrein. Drake the Destroyer was next, and he knew a move that brought down Mr. Big halfway through, we already had a casualty, and the Champion wasn't even the one to do it. I managed to take care of him with a combination of my other guys, but it was still pretty terrifying. Then came the Champion, Wallace the destroyer. I solar beamed his Wailord, and his Milotic, Earthquaked his Tentacruel, Shock Waved his Gyarados, Giga Drained his Whishcash, and Sludge Bombed his Ludicolio, finishing the Champion of Hoenn, becoming the Champion of Hoenn, and finishing my Nuzlocke all at the same time. Twilight, Midnight, you fought so hard for me, and have been there since the very beginning, this nuzlocke is dedicated to you two.

Okay, yet again, something terrefying, but luckily survivable. in the double battle with steven, I picked some really bad pokemon apparently, because all three nearly died, Steven was the real hero. Without a sizeable water type, I had no real protection against the Camerupts, which were terrifying. Twilight survived on one HP, thanks, most likely, to a Focus Band it was holding that I had just gotten.

Something soul crushing just occurred. Absolutely heart-breaking. Let me tell you:
The Beginning of the end(up to the present):
After beating dad, I taught HM Man Surf, and trained up a ton, catching up on the Trick house stuff, and then going up to wattson, I realized that I don't have a super effective Pokemon for Winoana's Skarmory, so I go to New Mauville, catching a Magnemite named Zappinator. I trained him up, before going across the 5 foot gap. I talk with Steven, and catch a Tropius on the next route, before going back to catch a Linoone on the current one. I train like mad, and go to the weather institute, beating up the Aqua Grunts, getting Castform, and beating my rival. I train, like mad, before taking on Winoana, Zappinator died in the process, the first meaningful death, but certainly not the last. I catch a seedot, named Oak, and beat up all the trainers. I go up mt. Pyre, killing every chance I had at a ghost type, unfortunately. I beat up the grunts, and take the Magma Emblem. A bunch of Training, exploring, item gathering, and TM gathering, with the abandoned ship, and sunny day, and giga drain, and such, I beat my trainer for the last time, and whipe out the entire population of shuppet in the nearby area. I take on my previous rival, as well as both hideouts, catching the Torkoal at Magma Hideout. I train like mad in the sea areas, beating most, if not all swimmer trainers in Hoenn in the process. I go into Shoal Cave, getting the Shell bell, as well as a Spheal named Blubby. My whole team was 42, meaning all but Gerald are now fully evolved. I go into Tate and Liza's gym. It was cool because it was new, in RS its a different gym layout. Tate and Liza were horrifying, I ended up picking Midnight and Twilight. I beat the Xatu really quickly, and solrock comes out, paired with the barely-damaged Claydoll. I use Muddy Water on Claydoll, and Bite on Solrock. The unthinkable happens, I got a critical hit on my muddy water, killing it, I'm incredibly thrilled, but then terror struck. Earlier, Xatu had used Sunny Day, and I didn't think anything of it, after all, Solrock does have fire moves, I was unaware, however, that it knew Solar Beam. Solrock the Destroyer blasted the full power of the sun at my beloved Midnight, the little guy whose been here since the very beginning, and had done so much for my nuzlocke, and OHKOed it into eternal slumber. Out of pure rage at its fallen friend, Mightyena got strong, managing to kill both Lunatone and Solrock, along with the power of Rhino the Aggron, and were able to destroy them. Our beloved friend is gone.
Deaths: Laut, Zappinator, and Midnight.
I believe Blubby's gonna have to step up to the plate, and might need a name change, after all, Blubby isn't exactly serious enough for a pokemon that's replacing their dead friend.

Team after beating Norman: Midnight(Marshtomp), Celestial(Gardevoir), Calotropis(Gloom), Rhino(Aron), Gerald(Trapinch), Twilight(Mightyena)

Okay guys, this'll take a huge amount of time, so I'm probably gonna group it throughout the next couple days, to tell you where I actually am, I'm near Tate and Liza, so, yeah, it's been a while.
Up 'till Norman the Father of Doom
I trained up, battling everyone on Slateport beach, getting some soda pops, which is strange, because I just realized that it's a human food, but you don't drink it, you feed it to your Pokémon, and it heals their injuries. Do they have mystical healing soda in Pokémon? Food for thought. Regardless, I continue to the actual city. Aqua grunts are lining up around the block like kids for the ice cream truck, I walk right past them, even talking to one, without getting in trouble, they must really like the museum. I go to route 110, and catch a Minun that I name Dash. I train, and take on the first trick house, training like mad to catch up to wattson for my whole team. I train, and beat May, with a close call with Grovyle's pursuit, I forgot it had that. I go to Wattson, and crush his team with Midnight. I go to 116, and catch an oddish, which I name Calotropis, named after a fatally poisonous flower. I train up everyone, and teach Rhino rock smash, I go and challenge the Winstrate family. They don't stand a chance since I way over trained. I catch a Numel and a Machop(wish I'd paid attention to him, you'll see later.) on route 112 and fiery path, I catch a stupid, useless spinda, on route 113, training a ton, a bit slower and more annoying, especially with Calotropis, who's now a gloom. I make my way around, catching a Lombre on the route before Meteor falls, beating the Aqua Grunts with more close calls because I spent a bunch of time training and forgot to heal at the Pokémon center, my goodness, reviewing this I am getting really lucky, I gotta be more careful. Anyway, I complete the trainers and items on the other side of Meteor Falls, make my way all the way back to 112, and go up to 112. I beat up my first Magma grunts, and can I just say, it's about time. I am almost halfway through the game, and I finally encounter the team I like more. Anyway, I beat up Maxie, and catch a spoink, which I can't remember what I name. This training process was slow and long, but I managed to meet Flannery in leveling, and her torkoal mesmerized half my team with its feminine whiles, but I managed to take it out with no fatalities. This part was painfully slow, I had to grind for hours to get two levels for my team. After getting the Go-goggles, I go to route 111, and catch a Trapinch, named Gerald, I couldn't think of a clever name. The mirage tower, by sheer luck, was there right when I arrived, I climbed to the top, catching a Sandshrew, and picking the Root Fossil. I beat all the trainers in the desert, Calotropis really helping from all those Ground types, I also swapped out Stopitnow! for Gerald, and spent hours training both him and the others up to level 31, and coming to my dad. The trainers alone were formidable, but I finally go up against dad, right afterward, I realize, that with the past gyms, I've had type advantages, but I didn't train up Jackie the Machop, and so I have no type advantage, plus, your dad is one of the hardest gym leaders simply because of that level restrictions and the tankiness of his Slakings. I was able to scrape by just barely, with a lot of healing. His Facades are absolutely insane. Anyway, I managed to survive, and rushed to the Pokémon center, and healed up my near-dead team. Holy cow, I survived. Tomorrow, I'll tell you about the other stuff that happened later.

Alright, second time's the charm, the first time I tried writing this review, it got deleted. Anyway, I trained up all my guys, besides Laut to level 15, and went up against Roxanne, Celestial the Ralts handled one Geodude, and Midnight handled the Geodude and the Nosepass, though it took a while, because Roxanne had a couple good potions for her Nosepass. I went to Dewford, unable to actually use Cut, because I didn't catch anything that could. I used the old rod on the waters of Dewford, catching a Tentacool, named HM Man, and went back to get the stuff and battles from cut availability. I went back to Dewford and trained in Granite Cave, as well as delivering the letter to Steven Stone, gaining steel wing as well, and also managing to get an Everstone that was hidden, you're meant to use the Itemfinder, but I found it without one. I'm using the rule where you can catch a new Pokémon for every level of a cave or building. I caught a Zubat(Annoying2), an Aron(Rhino), and a Sableye(Golem). I traded out Laut for Rhino, and trained like mad, getting everyone up to level 19, which greatly increased my strength, a bunch of new moves, and Twilight evolved into a Mighteyana. The trainers in Brawly's gym were unimpressive, but Brawly himself was terrible. Even though most of my party was resistant to fighting and had super effective moves, due to Bulk up and potions, especially on the fight in the level 19 Makuhita, Celestial, Stopitnow!, and Bait all nearly died, especially Stopitnow!, who got into the red, but luckily, I managed to survive. After that, I sailed to Slateport, and that's where I stopped.
