To be honest, I'm a bit iffy on Klayton's Circle of Dust revival. I mean I like 'Contagion' and 'Machines of Our Disgrace' but other than that I'm not that much of a fan where as Scandroid and Celldweller I could get on board pretty quickly with lot of the work Klay produced under those names.

Also, struggling to find music for my hopeful day one run through of Wrath of the Machine so I'd love some suggestions from you especially that of the 'hawt' kind :>

ON THE UP SIDE, anyone who would be starting a friendlier, educational or generally non-controversial anyway will make hella dollar via youtube's policy and algorithm while this gets sorted out and after. Alternatively since they're demonetising and not taking down, you could still make controversial videos as draws to your channel and make separate videos, streams or products as a way of making money. Going against the system has been making money for a while now.

This youtube fiasco is just absurd. YouTube are going to lose money from this no doubt. Appealing to your main demographic at the expense of EVERY OTHER DEMOGRAPHIC EVER, the trust and freedom of the content creators (let's not forget that the huge variety of content and the ability to monetize your views and personality is essentially how youtube became popular) AND any advertiser ever that doesn't want to be lumped in with that 'kid friendly' approach (see major sports leagues, energy drink companies, many video game advertisers etc).

Now I do think the general reaction is a little exagerrated, it's still more or less justified in youtube follows through with enforcing this more. Even if the guideline loosens or becomes less enforced over time our trust will still be shaken and YouTube's stocks could go down (though only slightly, they're still juggernauts).

Dragon Quest 7 remake/remaster due for september!

If Square Enix won't publish 10/11 outside Japan this is the least they could have done. Still awesome though. 7, 8 and 9 are the best of the series imo and now since 7 is getting a remake I'll get to enjoy it properly! If it has half the depth and postgame content of 9 I'll be addicted for months, it'll be my new portable game to take to school with me. Hype is real. More hyped for this than S&m tbh
