I actually don't have a phone ;-; lol but I've heard ppl saying it's crashing they're phone or something. did you get it?

Thats pretty cool that you're in the band! We kinda got the same situation over here, since the top-level band is now equal parts 7th and 8th graders, and theres no grade specific bands, really. (Oh, btw, what do you play?)

It is VERY big and VERY heavy, like the case is on (not very great) wheels heavy, so I don't carry it often. But it makes me stand out, and thats sort of my thing, so I don't mind.

Yeah, I do, in my school band.

The story behind it: When we were first picking instruments, I wanted to do percussion, but too many other people also wanted to do that, so I decided not to. Then, as my band teacher was listing the instruments off, he said tuba, and I thought "Tuba? That sounds AWESOME!" And even though before this I was playing the flute, I switched, and... yep.
