Maybe she should have, but I think it's reasonable to infer that she's asking the question *because* she wants to hit a target before it uses Protect. Pursuit doesn't achieve that. (Again though, this is something you should talk about with the person who asked the question instead of me.)
I'm not too worried about about one chat post that has a swear word in it. Unless it's a very regular thing, I'm happy to let the filter deal with it.

I didn't explain that in my answer because that was not what I was asking. I was simply asking is there a move that has a higher priority than protect. I don't think I have to explain that? Like Fizz said, I was just slightly disappointed that there was no move that can be used before Protect, because that was why I was asking it, though I didn't explain that because it's slightly irrelevant.

I will help you understand what the asker is saying, but ultimately she is in control of the question and what she means by it, not me.
She is not disputing that Pursuit's priority can be higher than Protect's. However, she is saying that she is disappointed because there is still no way to use a damaging move before Protect (because the target cannot switch and use Protect at the same time).
Your answer is "technically" more accurate, but only if you interpret the question in very literally.
