Draco,
He stood on all fours,
Proud as could be,
Fire flaring from his mouth.

Scarlet wings,
Like the blood seeping
From his golden heart.

Roaring,
Screaming,
In the deadly silent night.

Whoosh!
He soars,
With great triumph he does
Though breathing defeat.


His head pounds
Of chilling dreams
Of the person he was once.

Darkness cowards to the sun,
Leaving the mighty Draco
To fend off day.

As the sun stalks behind him,
The forest glows like a thousand fireflies,
And sounds like a swarm of bees.
Home sweet home.

A glowing bulb of new life,
Hidden in the bushes
Of darkness.

Blue like the waves of the ocean,
Red like the flames of rage within him,
Yet as green his sparkling emerald eyes.


A wave of happiness hit him,
He was truly home.
Draco took a deep breath,
Bracing himself.

He dove into the forest of green,
Never again
