If she decides she wouldn’t want to know if feelings resurfaced, maybe it would be best to ignore them. It’s okay to like her and have feelings if you do, but if it’s stressful for her it might be best to keep them on the low-key for a while until she hints she might be ready

I still fervently believe that you should try for a little ground  I know that’s not easy but it’s better than thinking the worst will happen.

I agree “ouch”  i wish you’d been wtong and things had worked out better. I’m not sure what to think about her telling you to “make more friends.” I’d think she’d know that isn’t easy for you. It almost sounds harsh like “buzz off.”te Only more  polite, and yhe “ i’ll probably be avoiding you.” Part yhat would sting most anyone.
