mistakes are a natural part of being human. everyone makes them, and it's absolutely okay to make mistakes. I hope you'll remember that mistakes by themselves are never a bad thing, you just got to learn from them and make them right; that's how we learn and grow. i totally was under the same impression you were under too with that question. iirc you can technically catch Pokémon higher than level 100 in gen 1, so we weren't totally off the mark

Please consider not posting on threads that are over a year old too. It’s allowed when you have useful new information but almost every time you do it you don’t have much to add and it unnecessarily bumps the thread. If you think you have something useful to add, please ask a mod before you post.

We are doing what was posted in the OP, double elimination. I feel like it will be tiresome to explain how it works so you can google how double elimination works.
