I knew every Pokémon’s name and type before I played a single actual Pokémon game. I’m hella cool. I have read part of the Pokémon Adventures manga. It’s really good. And it’s not that dark. Don’t be fooled by that one picture of an Arbok that got ripped in half (it didn’t even die, it can regenerate, because the manga is more anime than the anime). I love Hoppip because it’s probably so stupid. Look at its face. No thoughts, head empty. Sometimes I get bored and listen to Pokémon cries to figure out if any of them sound like the Pokémon’s (Japanese) name. A few of them definitely do: Watchog (Miruhoggu), Pancham (Yancham), Swirlix (Peropuff), Hatterene (Brimuon), Impidimp (Beroba).
