yes because pokedb did use a move, the action you made db do was to open the website but since db is down cause of confusion, it was unable to preform that action, so in conclusion it was not able to preform the valid command to function.

if it doesn't heal 1/16 of your HP every turn (or heal 18 HP when used from the item menu, raise your max HP when you find 3 of them, or summon Kirisame Marisa when thrown straight up) then it's not a real apple.
