Ugh is it boring or something? How long is the main storyline of the Islse Of Armor?

I know I haven't played dlc (nor do I even want to buy it unless crowned tundra appeals to me) but this was kind of a disappointment for me. Ending is cool, I guess, but that's about it. Can't say too much without spoiling a lot, so yeah lol
(watched a fair bit of gameplay so generated my opinions that way)
