Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Pokédex
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Pokémon Shining Pearl are remakes of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and actually contain the same Sinnoh Pokédex. The Pokémon are listed below in regional order, which puts starters first and mixes in Pokémon from earlier generations.
The National Pokédex can be obtained by seeing each of the 151 Pokémon - following the story and battling every trainer you see will mostly accomplish this naturally. The final Pokémon - Manaphy and either Dialga/Palkia (the opposite to your version) can be seen in a book in Canalave Library.
However, the National Pokédex
in this game is also the same as the original Diamond/Pearl games and only includes the first 493 Pokémon from generations 1-4. This even excludes evolutions introduced after generation 4 such as Sylveon!
