Does Magic bounce work behind a substitute?

I am just wondering because I have a Baton pass Espeon set with magic bounce and it knows subsitiute, if in a competitive battle, I move first and use substitute and the opponent decides to use stealth rock, will my magic bounce still activate? Thanks!

Yes Magic Bounce will still activate

>Espeon used Substitute!
Espeon put in a substitute!
Espeon lost 25% of its health!
The foe's Ferrothorn used Stealth Rock!
The foe's Ferrothorn's Stealth Rock was bounced back by Magic Bounce!
Pointed stones float in the air around the foe's team!
