I was training my wobbuffet(holding focus sash) but the focus disappeared. is this normal ?

Can you be a little more specific? Like, do you mean that the Focus Sash itself disappeared, or that the Pokemon didn't survive a hit, or what?

The pokemon survived the hit and then the sash was gone. Its cool though. I got another one and noticed that it will only prevent fainting once (sigh).

OK, so, it sounds like you figured out the problem. Focus Sash is a one-use item.
