Does Soft Resetting on GBA game excelerate or affect drainage of the battery?

I fear that my Emerald cartridge will deplete by me soft resetting the game often for a shiny Rayquaza. Any answer will help!

Soft Resetting is simply a faster way to restart your game. It does not harm your gameboy, battery, or cartridge in any way.
