What ground and water Pokemon is best based on stats?

I was thinking of adding a ground and water Pokemon to my team. I was thinking about giving it the one item that absorbs grass attacks so it would have no weaknesses.

Swampert. Its base stat total is 535, higher than all other Pokemon with the Water/Ground typing.

My only problem with that is that I've been on the GTS for about an hour and could not find a mudkip, Marshtomp, or a swampert.
