What exactly is Unova Link?

The Unova Link is a feature in Pokémon Black and White Versions 2. It has three links that allow players to link together and obtain
various features:

Key Link allows players to connect between Pokémon Black and White Versions 2 and obtain keys that unlock various features, such as
changing the difficulty level. These keys can be sent to other
players, regardless of how far they have progressed in the game. Upon
loading a saved file, the player will be notified if a feature is
turned on.

Assist/Easy Mode

Assist/Easy Mode allows players to change the difficulty settings to
easy. When this mode is turned on, the opponent's Pokémon levels and
AI will decrease. Assist/Easy Mode can be unlocked in Pokémon White
Version 2 after defeating the Champion, Iris.

Challenge Mode

Challenge Mode allows players to change the difficulty settings to
hard. When Challenge Mode is turned on, the opponent's Pokémon levels
and AI will increase. Additionally, Gym Leader and the Elite Four will
have an additional Pokémon added into their team, as well as moves
changing and the Pokémon's holding item. Challenge Mode can be
unlocked in Pokémon Black Version 2 after defeating the Champion,
Iris.

Memory Link allows players to collect data from Pokémon Black and White and insert it to Pokémon Black and White Versions 2. This allows
Pokémon Black and White Versions 2 to obtain information from the
predecessors, such as past events. Memory Link may be done via local
wireless or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

The Nintendo 3DS Link allows players to transfer Pokémon and items
from Pokémon Dream Radar into Pokémon Black and White Versions 2. This
allows the player to obtain the "Therian Formes" of Tornadus,
Thundurus, and Landorus.

you just have to go to your menu screen, scroll a little down and you will see unova link. You first need to catch regirock, then go to the unova link because you get the iron key after you have captured regirock. Now you need to activate it at the unova link. Then you must get the ice key from someon who has pokemon white 2 version. Then catch regice. When you go with all three regies back to the place you caught regirock and registeel/regice ( registeel black 2/reice white2) then regigigas will appear

Location: Underground Ruins

Method:
 Deep in the Clay Tunnel are the Underground Ruins. These ruins are seldom seen caves which hold a massive puzzle. The first one is the focus of the Pokémon Regirock and has you have to do a puzzle that can only be known if you visit the place at Day and night. The puzzle requires you to move 6 steps down from the centerpiece and then move 9 steps right. Then select down to hit a hidden switch. This changes the ruins so Regirock becomes available.

If you have Pokemon Black or White, and you connected it to the Pokemon Global Link (as well as your copy of Pokemon Black 2 or White 2), you can use the Unova link to view certain events in your game.
Another use is to connect to other peoples' games via IR and receive keys to get in either Black City or White Treehollow, to get accessibility to get either Regice or Registeel.
