What happens when Jolteon is given a CellBattery and hit by thunder?

Question

Well jolteon hit by thunder get's hp (volt absorb) but cellbattery increases some stats now what will happen when thunder is stuck on a Jolteon I cannot experiment ( I don't have cellbattery).

Cell battery;
>If the holder is damaged by an Electric-based attack, its attack stat will rise.

Since Volt Absorb activates before Cell Battery, it essentially nullifies the whole attack... so your opponent did nothing (apart from heal you). So Cell Battery does nothing. Apart from sitting there and looking fancy
