Why is Normal unaffected by Ghost?

Because that's how gamefreak wanted it. Theoretically, I guess it would be because according to all the ghost TV shows and movies and legends and etc. Ghosts just phase right through Humans, which are normal I guess. Hope I answered It well!

To be honest I've always found ghost strange.  I mean how can something we can't touch, touch us? That's like some Tobi stuff, if you know what I mean.
