Is it just me, or is there a higher chance of hitting yourself because of confusion in Gen VI?

Yes, I find my Greninja and Blastoise always hitting (often, not always!). They haven't done anything I think.

The rate is the same as as it's always been, I think. It just seems like there is a higher chance of hitting yourself because those are the times we notice it and get frustrated.
Also, it is just luck, so it could be that you have just been getting unlucky. But I'm pretty sure the rate is the same as it has always been.
