Does it matter ?

Im ev trainig a pokemon and its leading stat is special attack as it suppose to be but im trying to train it for attack too but even with the right pokemon it woent get more the two points but when itraind it for sp attack it growd by 5
does the leading stat metters ?

No and the highier stat when at lvl 100 depends on the highier base stat
