Can you change your Trainer name or name to be shown to other players online?

I accidentally used my Trainer name as my full name so now it's just annoying. I was wondering if I could change how it looks to other players?

You cannot change your in game name unless you restart your game. If you want, you could change your selected Mii's name for your 3DS friends to see, but that won't really help much in Pokemon X/Y.
