Is it easier to breed Shiny Pokemon this way?

I caught a Shiny Emolga in my Black 2 recently, and it led me to wonder about Shiny Breeding. You see, the Emolga is a male, and I wondered something: Does the gender of the Shiny parent matter when breeding for Shiny Pokemon?

Gender does not matter when breeding for a Shiny Pokémon.

Also note that breeding a Shiny Pokémon does not increase your chances of getting a Shiny Pokémon from an egg.
