What happens to the confused Tourist in Lumiose?

When you first go to Lumiose, in one of the plazas, there are 2 ladies talking. One says "Where is he? I told him to go to Verde Plaza." or something like that. At another plaza, you see this guy and he says "Hmm, maybe I was supposed to go to Verde Plaza, not Bleu Plaza" or something like that.

Every time you go to Lumiose the guy always goes to a different plaza and the ladies still don't know where he went. I just wondered if there will be an outcome. Will the guy and the ladies ever meet?

No, nothing ever happens with them. It's pretty much just filler NPC dialogue to add some character/ personality to the game.
