Pokemon Battle Stat Changes?

Question

I'm wondering how stat changes work when your in a battle.

Example #1:

Pokemon uses Calm Mind/Swords Dance/Dragon Dance/Belly Drum (however many times)
Than the Pokemon switches out or gets sent back via Dragon tail/Roar.

Does the Pokemon still have those stat changes if it decides to come back into battle?

Example #2:

Pokemon uses Draco Meteor/Close Combat and lowers a stat, That Pokemon switches out or gets roared out.

Does that stat drop stay with it for the entire battle? Or does it's stats go back to normal after it switches out (than back in)?

Any stat changes, whether they be drops or boosts, reset after the Pokemon switches out of battle.
